Welcome to our school, where we are dedicated to providing an excellent education for every child in every classroom, every day. We create an inspiring environment filled with opportunities to learn, grow and discover their potential.
We employ a team of dedicated staff, 12 of whom are teachers and 15 are part-time support staff. Our Team of support staff include our Director for Safeguarding and Well-being, Learning and Teaching assistants, Reading assistants and Sports coach. In addition to the learning support staff we have the admin team who provide a warm welcome and ensure the smooth running of the organisation.
Our Pupil Admission Number (PAN) is 30 per year with an attached 30 full-time equivalent (FTE) place Nursery setting and 16 place 2 year old provision.
The Principal is Mrs Helen Steele who is supported by Miss Angela Barry, Vice Principal and lead for Safeguarding, Wellbeing & Attendance; Mrs Gemma Hutchinson, Vice Principal, Teaching, Learning, Curriculum and Assessment lead; Miss Kate Pounder, Assistant Principal, Early Years &KS1 Team Leader lead for phonics and early reading; Miss Nicola Mount, SENDco.
We have 8 classes along with 2 year old provision and our 3-4 year old Nursery setting, all of which are supported by the Learning and Teaching Assistants who help to ensure that our pupils receive individual support, care and challenge. In addition we have our Thrive inspired ‘Nurture Group’ provision which was established to support and meet the needs of some of our most vulnerable pupils so that everyone is challenged to achieve their potential.

Through our inclusive, individualised and inspirational curriculum, we aim to develop attributes and qualities that pupils will build upon as they continue on their learning journey within our setting and on into their next stage of learning. We aspire for our pupils to become productive, respectful, honest and reliable members of the community, who are resilient and determined, whilst fostering attitudes of care and respect for themselves and their own and wider community.
The Early Years, Nursery team can facilitate a limited number of flexible places for children attending our Nursery setting. Generally pupils will attend either on a morning or for an afternoon session for 3 hours.
Our trust is made up of 57 primary, secondary and special schools, educating more than 33,000 pupils across the country – from Middlesbrough in the north to Devon in the west, Essex in the east and the Isle of Wight in the south. The majority of our schools are rated ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.
